The Gujarat Backward classes Development Corporation Act,1985State Act of Gujarat · Act 11 of 1985

(1) When the Corporation is dissolved under section 24,-

(i) all directors shall, from the date of dissolution, vacate their offices;

(ii) all powers and duties of the Corporation shall, during the period of dissolution, be exercised and performed by such person as the State Government may appoint in this behalf;

(iii) all funds and other property vested in the Corporation shall, during the period of dissolution, vest in the State Government.

(2) The State Government may reconstitute the Corporation after such period as it may think fit.

26. No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Corporation or any director including the managing director, or any officer or other employee or any other person authorised by the Corporation to discharge any functions under this Act for any loss or damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done by him in pursuance of this Act.
