(1) Any person aggrieved by an order of the Controller under sub-section (2) of section 4 may, within thirty days from the date of the ho communication of such order to him, prefer an appeal to the 18 [State] Government.
(2) The order of the, 18 [State] Government on appeal shall be final.
7. No compensation shall be claimed by any person for any damage or loss sustained by him in consequence of—
(a) any order of the Controller under sub-section (2) of section 4 ; or Appointment of Controllers of Buildings.

(b) any order passed by the, 18 [State] Government under section 19 * * * 6; or
(c) anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act.
8. Nothing in this Act shall affect the power of any authority to impose restrictions upon the erection or re-erection of a building, 20 [or the conversion of a building] under any other enactment for the time being in force.
