(1) All circuits shall he efficiently protected by cut-outs placed in positions easily accessible to the staff but inaccessible to the public. All cut-outs shall be of such pattern and be fixed in such a position as to admit of quick replacement.
(2) All cut-outs shall be so constructed that falling fused metal cannot cause a short circuit or an ignition.
(3) All switches and cut-outs shall be so marked as to show clearly which circuit or lamp they control.
(4) All switches cut-outs, ceiling roses, wall, sockets, lamp holders, etc. shall be have non inflanunable bases and covers. All switches and cut-out shall have sufficient length and breadth and shall be constructed so as to prevent the risk of formation of an arc.
(5) All switches shall be of ample size to carry the current for which they are intended without heating and shall be so constructed that they shall not remain in any position intermediate between the "on" and the "off" position so as to permit of an arc or short circuit.
