The Gujarat Court of Wards Act, 1963State Act of Gujarat · Act 37 of 1963

(1) The Court of Wards may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, assume the superintendence of the property of any propertyholder holding property within the local limits of its jurisdiction who is disqualified to manage his own property (hereinafter in this section referred to as "the disqualified person").

(2) The previous sanction referred to in sub-section (1) shall be given only where the State Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest to preserve the property of the disqualified person for the benefit of his family and that the said property is of such value that economical management by the Court of Wards is practicable.

(3) No sanction given under sub-section (1) shall be called in question in any Court.
