Section 11

The Gujarat Electricity ( Special Powers ) Act, 1946.State Act of Gujarat · Act 20 of 1946

(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of any order, direction or requirement made or deemed to have been made under section 3, 4, 5 35[, 6, 6-A, 6-B or 6-C].

(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the 36[ Government ] for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith Continuance in force of existing Orders.

Cognizance of offences.

Protection of action taken under Act.

[1946 : Bom. XX Gujarat Electricity (Special Powers) Act, 1946 done or intended to be done in pursuance of any order 37[ direction or requirement ] made or deemed to have been made under section 3, 4, 5 3[ 6, 6-A, 6-B or 6-C ].

12. Every order or direction made or issued under this Act shall as far as may be, be served in the manner prescribed in section 53 of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910.
