The Gujarat Special Investment Region Act, 2009.State Act of Gujarat · Act 2 of 2009

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, form a Disputes Settlement Mechanism consisting of such number of members as may be specified by it, to deal with the disputes against Regional Development Authority or those arising in any manner in the Special Investment Region and brought before it or those which could not be resolved or settled by the Grievances Redressal Committee and the Disputes Resolution Forum.

(2) The qualification, tenure of office and other terms and conditions of the Chairperson and members of the Disputes Settlement Mechanism shall be such as may be prescribed by rules.

(3) For the purpose of deciding the disputes, the Disputes Settlement Mechanism shall frame the guidelines including the time frame in this regard and follow the principles of natural justice while dealing with the disputes.

(4) The order passed by the Disputes Settlement Mechanism shall be final.
