(1) The Town Vending Committee shall, in its first meeting, decide the various procedural aspects relating to conduct of its business. (2) The time, date and venue of the meeting shall be decided by the Chairperson. (3) The Member-Secretary shall issue a notice along with the agenda before seven days of a scheduled meeting. Seven clear days’ notice shall be given for the meeting of the Committee. (4) The agenda of items to be discussed in the meeting shall be circulated to the members and put up on official website. Each agenda item shall be accompanied by a detailed note bringing out the issues involved with the clear recommendation, if any, made by the administration. The agenda papers including the notes shall be in the local language. (5) The quorum of the meeting shall be of two-thirds of the total members of the Committee. (6) The decision shall be taken on the basis of the majority of members present at the meeting. (7) No meeting shall be carried on in the absence of the quorum and where there is no quorum, the meeting shall be adjourned. (8) The minutes of the meeting shall be signed by the Chairperson and shall be placed in the subsequent meeting of the Committee for confirmation. (9) The minutes of the meeting shall be placed on the website of the local authority or, the Town Vending Committee, as the case may be. (10) The meeting of the Town Vending Committee shall be held at least once in every six months. (11) The first meeting of the newly constituted Town Vending Committee shall be convened within fifteen days from the date of its constitution.
