The Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation Act, 1972State Act of Gujarat · Act 5 of 1972

(1) With effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify in this behalf, the State Governmentmay establish for the purpose of this Act a Corporation to be known as the Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation.

(2) The Corporation shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal, with powers subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold or dispose of property, whether movable or immovable, and to contract and to do all things necessary for the purposes of this Act, and may, by the name aforesaid, sue or be sued.

4. The head office of the Corporation shall be at Ahmedabad or at such other place as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify.
