Section 44: Power to remove difficulties.

The Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970Central Act · Act 16 of 1970

If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the President may, by order, do anything, not inconsistent with such provisions, which appears to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty:

Provided that no such power shall be exercised after the expiry of the period of two years from the commencement of this Act.
