(1) Every person entering a Cattle fair shall get himself registered at the entry gate on payment of rupees ten.
(2) Every person selling cattle at cattle fair shall obtain a registration certificate from the certificate writer in Form CFR 1 in respect of such cattle on payment fee of one hundred rupees per cattle.

2 2[(3) The persons selling or purchasing a cattle at a cattle fair shall furnish necessary particulars in respect of the sale transaction to the certificate writer, who shall issue a registration certificate in Form CFR 1, on payment of a fee at the rate of three percent of the sale price or one thousand five hundred rupees, whichever is lower, for big animals, namely, cow, buffalo, camel, donkey, horse and mule of an age of above twenty four months and at the rate of three percent of the sale price or five hundred rupees, whichever is lower, for small animals, namely, sheep, goat and young-ones of cow, buffalo, camel, donkey, horse and mule of an age of not less than six months and not more than twenty-four months by purchaser and seller in the ratio of seventy-five present and twenty-five present respectively. No fee shall be charged for the young-ones of animals of an age of less than six months sold with said big or small animal.]
4. All fees, rents or other sums of money, received by the certificate writer shall be deposited by him daily with the fair officer on the close of the day who shall further deposit the same in the Cattle Fair Fund as soon as practicable.
