(1) The State Government may, by notification and after previous publication, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-
(a) the powers, functions and duties of the competent authority under subsection (2) of section 4;
(b) the manner of publication of notification and details of land under section 5;
(c) the manner of giving notice under section 6;
(d) the manner of exercising option under section 7;
(e) the manner of publication of draft scheme under sub-section (1) of section 8;
(f) the manner of notification under section 9;
(g) the procedure of taking possession under section 10;
(h) any other matter which is to be or may be prescribed.
