Section 33: Cognizance and trial of offences

The Dangerous Machines (Regulation) Act, 1983State Act of Haryana · Act 35 of 1983

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), no court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under this Act except on a complaint in writing made by the Controller or any person authorised by him in this behalf.

(2) Every offence under this Act may be tried summarily by a Magistrate.
