2. (i) ln the Haryana Environment Department (GrouP C) Service Rule' t998 (hereinalier called the said rules). in rule 9th sub-rule (l), clause (e) shall be omitted'
(ii) the words "Clerk-cum-typist" wherever occurring shall be onlitted- -j. (3) The Government of Haryana hereby authorizes the Haryana State Electronic Development CorporationLimited(ItARTRoN)oranyotheragencyssprescribedbytheGov.qtnment.astheauthorized Agency for.nno,.ting ili;e etigitrility Test in Computer ApPrcciation and Applications (SETC)' olongwith a test in typ''g';;;; i;;tt;"*"' e rvith the svllalus as the State Government may specifv in this regard from time ro ri*"ffi* ir,".yrrabus already provided in sub-rule (4) of this fule 'l'he'pass' ceftificate issued bv HARTRoN t;;;;;";;g;'"y' u' upp'o'"j t'v tt'e Govemment' would be accepted as an evidence of the fulfilment of the prescribed condition in the Servica Rules
(4) The sytlabus for the State Eligibility 'fcst in Computer APpreciation and Applications (SETC) $ould contain Woid prrcessing' lnternct Browsing antl E-nrail nlaragement only'

(i) M' Tech /B Tech (Conrputets)' M'C A ' B C A or Diplttmu in Computcrs from the rccognized institutions e.g. PolYlechnics; '/ HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA.), NOV. 8. 2013 (KRTK. 17, t93s SAKA) 4837
(ii) Basic Computer Litelacy Certificate from any reccrgnized centre established under the Nilinal Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) [erstwhile DOEACC Society];
(iii) Haryana State - Certificate in Infcrrmation Technology tHS-ClI'l tiom the Authorisefl Lear.ning Centres (AI-Cs) of the IIKCLI
(iv) Candidates/entployees wlro have ah'ead1, passed the SETC and the same is valid at, the time of joining the service. The State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) passed by any candidate earlier shall be considercd valid for a period of five years from rhe date of issue of such certificate by HARTRON or any other agency authorized by the Government; and
(v) Physically disabled candidates i.e. amputation of hand (Leti and Right) Amputation of upper Iimbs, Paralysis of Radial Nerve (Radial Nerve Palsy) of either upper limb. Declination degenerative disordereffecting the nervous system which rnay cause paralysis and atrophy ofthe hand and its muscles and Visually Handicapped. However, these employees, with the exception of those mentioned under sub-para (v) above, shall be required to clear the 'typing test' being part of the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC).".
4. In the said rules, in Appendix A.-
(i) against serial number I I , under columns 4 and -5, for the existing entries, the foilowing entries shall be substituted, namely :- 45 55:.:
(ii) entries serial number l2 shall be omitted.
5. In the said rules, in Appendix B,-
(i) against serial number 8, under columns 3, for the existing item ( t), the following item shall be substituted, namely :- "(i) lO+2 or Graduate."
(ii) against serialnumber ll,-
(a) under column 3, for the existing items, the following items shall be substituted, namely :- ''(t) l0+2lGraduate;
(2) Omited in view of rule 9A;
(3) Hindi upto Matric standard.
(b) under column 4, for the existing items, the following items shall be substituted, namely :- "(i) l0+2;
(ii) Hindi upto Matric Standard f; vc years experience as Group C or Group D employees;
(iii) Should i!"l'iry the written test in Flindi and English of l0+2 level ro be held by Director; {i';) Omitted in view of rule 9A."
