Section 34: Appeal

Haryana Forest Development Act, 1983State Act of Haryana · Act 7 of 1983

(1) An appeal shall lie from an original or appellate order of any officer of the Board or the Chairman under this Act or any rule or byelaws made thereunder :-

(a) to the Chairman when the order is made by any officer of the Board;

and

(b) to the Board when the order is made by the Chairman

(2) Every such appeal shall be preferred within a period of thirty days of the date of communication of the orders :

Provided that the Chairman or the Board, as the case may be, may entertain the appeal after the expiry of the period of thirty days if he or it is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time.
