Section 28: Withdrawal of candidature

The Haryana Municipal Elections Rules, 1978State Rules of Haryana · 1973

Any candidate may withdraw his candidature by notice in writing and delivered to the Returning Officer before three O’clock in the afternoon or such other hours as the Returning Officer may fix to suit local requirements on or before the date specified under rule 19 in this behalf and no person who has thus withdrawn his candidature shall be allowed to cancel his withdrawal or to be renominated as a candidate for the same election in the same constituency.
