When the result has been declared under rule 62, the Returning Officer shall forthwith prepare a return showing the names of the candidates, the number of votes recorded for each and the names of the candidates declared to have been elected and shall forthwith post a copy of the return in a conspicuous place at his office and send a copy thereof to the Deputy Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner shall immediately forward the names of the candidates elected to the State Election Commissioner, Haryana who shall notify the same in the Official Gazette within the period specified in sub-section (1) of section 24.
