Section 69R: Transmission of voting machines etc. to the Returning Officer

The Haryana Municipal Elections Rules, 1978State Rules of Haryana · 1973

(1) The Presiding Officer shall then deliver or cause to be delivered to the Returning Officer at such place as the Returning Officer may direct-

(i) the voting machine;

(ii) the account of votes recorded in Form 18;

(iii) sealed packets under rule 69P; and

(iv) all other papers used at the poll.

(2) The Returning Officer shall make adequate arrangements for the safe transport of the voting machine, packets and other papers and for their safe custody until the conclusion of the counting of votes.
