No: 500-Ft(VI)-65/1323:- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to declare the Land described in the schedule below to be protected Forest and the provisions of the chapter IV and section 68 of the said Act to be applicable to them.

No: 590-Ft (VI)-65 1323 dated 21-04-1965, Certain Forest and Government waste lands mentioned in the schedule appended to the said Notification 29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927.
Now, therefore, the Governor of Punjab, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the said act is please:-
(a). Declare all threes standing in or upon these lands to be reserved from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette for the period of 30 years and.
(b) Prohibit form the same date and for the above period the quarrying of stone, the burning of Lime or Charcoal or the collection or subjection to any manufacture using process and removal of any Forest produce in such Forest and the breaking up or clearing of land for building or for harding cattle for any other purpose of land in such Forests.

No: 590-Ft (VI)-65/3123 dated 21-04-1965, certain Forests mentioned in the schedule app ended there to have been declared to be protected Forest under section 29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 & 33 of the Said Act the Governor of Punjab is please to make the following rules applicable to alll lands specified in the aforesaid notification.
Rules
1. No person shall cut, fell or lop any trees for any purpose whatsoever or remove timber or any other Forest produce.
2. No person shall hard, pasture grass or retain cattle on the said land.
3. No person shall cut or remove the grass, kahi or kana without the approval of Divisional Forest Officer, Ambala Forest Division on the condition that the grass is cut above ground with sickle only.
4. No person shall clear or break up land for cultivation for any other purpose.
5. No person shall not five to grass, these timber or kindly a fire on the land without taking reasonable production to prevent Its spreading
6. The quarrying of stone or burning of Lime at place where such stone or lime had not ordinarily been quarry of burnet prior to the publication of Punjab Government Notification No: 530-Ft (VI)-1323 dated 03-01-1965 shall be prohibited except with the permission of collector of Ambala District who will consult the Divisional Forest officer Ambala before conceding such permission.
7. Income from the compounding offences against these rules under section 68 of the Indian Forest Act, 1987 shall be credited B.D. Vohra.
