PART III FOREST AND AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT (FOREST) Notification The 27 th April 1973 No. S.O. / 95/ CA./16/27/S 20/73. –Whereas a declaration to constitute the land specified in the Schedule as a reserved forests has been issued with Haryana Government, Forest and Animal Husbandry Department (Forest), notification No. S.O.181/C.A.16/27/S.4/70, dated the 5 th June 1970;
And whereas the Forest Settlement of these lands has now been completed in accordance with the provisions contained in Chapter II of the Indian Forest Act, 1927;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, the Governor of Haryana hereby specifies according to the boundary marks (Pillars) erected on the ground and map kept in the office of Deputy Commissioner, karnal, the limits of the forest in the Schedule given below and declares the same to be the reserved forests with effect from the date after expiry of four weeks from the date of publication of this notification:-
