(1) For the purpose of dynamically updating information held in the Family Information Data Repository, the State Government shall, by notification, entrust the Authority with the responsibility of maintaining the data of birth, death and marriage registered under any law for the time being in force in an electronic form and the Authority shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining such data linked to the Parivar Pehchan number.
(2) For the purpose of sub-section (1), the State Government may issue such directions, as it deems fit to the Chief Registrar under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 (Central Act 18 of 1969) and to the Chief Registrar under the Haryana Compulsory Registration of Marriages Act, 2008 (6 of 2008).
