2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,_

(3) Notwrthstanding anything contained in sub-sections (1) and

5. 7. (1) Any farmet' who contravenes any of the provisions of this Act" shall be liable for pr;lrr;i ten thomsand rupees for "o"ry month or part thereo'f per hectare of land.
(2) Ihe penalty referred to in sub-section (1) shall be in addition to therecoveryoftheexpenses,actuallYrncurredfordestroyingthenursery<lfpaddy' sown br transplanted before the not'ified date'

8.
