The Haryana Public Libraries Act, 1989 (20 of 1989)State Act of Haryana · Act 20 of 1989

(1) The State Government shall create cadres for Public Library employees similar to those of the employees of Government Departments and lay down the qualifications and the other terms and conditions of service for those cadres.

(2) Within a year of its first constitution, the Authority shall frame service rules for the various categories of library employees.
