The Punjab Livestock and Birds Diseases Act 1948State Act of Haryana · Act 47 of 1948

( 1 ) '1 he '[State] Government for the purpose of preven~ing rne outbreak or sprcad of any schcdulcd discase, may, by notification prohibit or rzgulate in such manner and to such cxtcnt as they may think fit -

(3) The IrState] Go?lemment may establish quarantine stations h the ilispcction and dctention of such 5[livestock or b~rds] along the mure appuinled under sub-secLion (2).

14. On receipt of a report under sub-section (2) of section 15 the Veterinary Surgeon shall exanline the 2[livestock or bird] as soon as possible and may also examine all Z[ljvestock or bird] which it has been in contact wilh or i n close proximity to, and for this purpose may submit any '[livestock or bird1 to any test which the '[State] Government may by reguiaiions vrescribr. in ii~is behaif.
