he Andaman And Nicobar Islands Gram Panchayats Regulation, 1961.Regulations · 1961

(1) In suits for money, a Nyaya Panchayat may, in its discretion, direct payment of interest on the sum decreed, at a rate not exceeding six per cent, per annum,, from the date of the decree until the date of payment and of any fees which may be prescribed.

(2) When a Nyaya Panchayat decrees the payment of a sum of money in a suit, it may direct that it be paid by instalments, without interest or with interest not exceeding the above rate.

Nyaya Panchayat not to revise or alter its decUion.
