Section 3: Language of the Tribunal

Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 2015Central Rules · 1985

(1) The language of the Tribunal shall be English:

Provided that the parties to a proceeding before the Tribunal may file documents drawn up in Hindi, if they so desire:

Provided further that the Bench may -

(a) permit the use of Hindi in any proceeding;

(b) direct English translation of any pleading or document to be filed;

(c) make final orders either in Hindi or in English.

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), where a final order is made in Hindi, authenticated English translation thereof shall simultaneously be prepared and kept on record and provided to the parties free of cost.
