Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh Armed Bands (Arrest and Detention) Act, 1969State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 1 of 1971

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Armed Bands (Arrest and Detention) Act, 1969.

(2) It extends to the whole of Himachal Pradesh.

(3) It shall come into force in such areas and on such date 2 or dates as the State Government may, by notification, direct in this behalf.
