(1) The Board of Management shall consist of the following members, namely:—
(a) the Vice-Chancellor;
1 [(b) Deans of Faculties not exceeding two (by rotation based on seniority);
(c) two persons, nominated by the sponsoring body from amongst eminenteducationists or from management field;
(d) two eminent academicians to be nominated by the Government in consultation with the Regulatory Commission;]
2 [(e) two persons from amongst the teachers (from Professors, Associate Professors),by rotation based on seniority; and
(f) the Registrar shall be the Member Secretary.]

(2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management.
(3) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be specified by the statutes.
(4) The Board of Management shall meet at least once in every two months.
(5) The quorum for meetings of the Board of Management shall be five.
