Section 49: Delegation of certain powers by Board

The Board may, if it thinks fit, delegate all or any of its powers under sections 3, 16, 23, 24, 27, 33, 37, 39 and 42 to an executive committee constituted by it and consisting of two or more of its members.

1[49-A. Employees etc., to be public servants.- Any employee of the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank engaged in the recovery of loans under the provisions of this Act or the rules or any person appointed as liquidator or arbitrator shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860)].
