Section 12: Power of State Government to make rules

The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Distribution Management Responsibility Act, 2014State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 5 of 2015

(1) The State Government shall, by notification, make rules for carrying out the provisions of this Act.

(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-

(i) the form of the State Electricity Distribution Management Statement referred to in section 3;

(ii) such other measures for long term planning as may be required under section 4; and

(iii) any other matter which is required to be, or may be, prescribed.
