The objective of these regulations is to maintain grid discipline and grid security as envisaged, under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2010 and Himachal Pradesh Electricity Grid Code, 2008 and amendments made from time to time, through the commercial mechanism for Deviation Settlement through drawal and injection of electricity by the users of the grid.
