Section 20: Return on Equity

The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Wheeling Tariff and Retail Supply Tariff)…State Regulations of Himachal Pradesh · 2003

Return on equity for the distribution licensee (sum of return on equity for wheeling business and return on retail supply business) shall be computed on the paid up equity capital determined in accordance with regulation 0 and shall be 16% per annum (post tax):

Provided that return on equity invested in works in progress shall be allowed from the date of commercial operation.
