Section 8: Sales Forecast

The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Wheeling Tariff and Retail Supply Tariff)…State Regulations of Himachal Pradesh · 2003

The Commission, based on the licensee’s filings, shall examine the forecast for reasonableness and consistency, and shall approve the sales forecast for each year of the control period.

(1) Sales shall be treated as uncontrollable:

Provided that the open access transactions shall not form part of sales.

(2) Power purchase quantum and cost for any financial year shall be computed on the basis of distribution loss targets and the estimated sales.
