Section 6: Management

The Himachal Pradesh Ex-servicemen Corporation Act, 1979State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 8 of 1980

(1) The general superintendence, direction and management of the affairs and the business of the Corporation shall vest in a Board of Directors which may exercise all such powers and do all such acts and things as may be exercised or done by the Corporation.

(2) The Board in discharging its functions shall act on such principles which shall be in consonance with the policy of the Government having regard to public interest, welfare of ex-servicemen/serving soldiers and their

THE HIMACHAL PRADESH EX-SERVICEMEN CORPORATION ACT, 1979 7 families and shall be guided by such instructions on question of policy 1[and management], as may be given to it by the State Government.

(3) If any doubt arises as to whether a question is or is not a question of policy, the decision of the State Government shall be final.
