Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh Ferries Act, 1956State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 10 of 1956

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Ferries Act, 1956.

(2) It extends to 1[the areas as comprised in Himachal Pradesh immediately before 1 st November, 1966].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, fix in this behalf.
