Section 4: Fishing methods and mode of use

The Himachal Pradesh Fisheries Rules, 2020State Rules of Himachal Pradesh · 1976

Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules and subject to provision of rules 5 and 6 fishing methods permitted for fishing in water declared not to be private water shall be as per column 3 of the Schedule:

Provided that fishing by Chips and Barpatta shall be allowed only on the basis of local customs and customary rights accrued to bonafide fishermen who hold a general fishing license.
