Section 3: Prohibition of forcible conversion

The Himachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, 2006State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 5 of 2007

No person shall convert or attempt to convert, either directly or otherwise, any person from one religion to another by the use of force or by inducement or by any other fraudulent means nor shall any person abet any such conversion:

Provided that any person who has been converted from one religion to another, in contravention of the provisions of this section, shall be deemed not to have been converted.
