Section 41: List of contesting candidates

(1) On completion of the scrutiny of nomination papers and after the expiry of the period within which candidature may be withdrawn under rule 40, the Returning Officer shall forthwith prepare a list of contesting candidates in Hindi in Form-24 and cause it to be affixed at some conspicuous place in his office and at the office of the Panchayat concerned.

(2) The said list shall contain in Hindi in Devnagari script the names in alphabetical order and the addresses of the contesting candidates as given in the nomination papers.
