Section 46: Revocation of the appointment or death of election, polling and counting agent

The appointment of the election agent, polling agent and counting agent, as the case may be, may be revoked by the candidate at any time before the commencement of or during the poll by a declaration in writing signed by him and copy of the same shall be submitted by the candidate to concerned Returning Officer. In case of death of the above agents new agents may be appointed by the candidate under intimation to the Returning Officer.
