Every summons or notice issued by a Gram Panchayat shall be in duplicate and in Form-31, unless the parties bring with them their own witnesses. It shall specify the date, time and place at which the person is required to attend and whether his attendance is required as accused, defendant, a judgement debtor or other party or a witness and whether for a purpose of giving evidence or to produce a document or for other purposes. If any particular document is to be produced, it shall be described in the summons or notice with reasonable accuracy.
