The summons or notice, shall be served by delivery to the person concerned, whose signatures or thumb impression shall be taken on the duplicate. If the person concerned cannot be found or if it appears that he is evading service, the Pradhan or Up- Pradhan may order that the summons or notice may be served on any adult male member of the family residing with him, or affix the same at some conspicuous part of the house in which the person ordinarily resides in the presence of two respectable witnesses of the locality.
