Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority Act, 2004State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 9 of 2004

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority Act,

2004.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh.

(3) It shall come in to force on such date as the State Government may, by notification3, appoint.

3. Act came into force from 15th day May, 2004 vide Notification. No. HSG-1A(3)- 3/95-I. 13th May, 2004 published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh (Extraordinary), dated 15th May, 2004, p. 526.
