Section 20: Publication of development scheme

The Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority Act, 2004State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 9 of 2004

(1) Before finalization of any development scheme, the Authority shall, by notification, publish the draft scheme and the same shall specify the plan showing the area proposed to be included in the development scheme alongwith surrounding lands and shall be open to inspection for the public during office hours at the office of the Authority for 30 days from the date of publication thereof.

(2) If within 30 days from the date of publication of the draft scheme, any person communicates in writing to the Authority any suggestion or objection relating to the scheme, the Authority shall consider such suggestion or objection and may modify the draft scheme as it may deem fit.

(3) The Authority shall, by notification, publish the scheme finalized under sub-section (2).

(4) The publication of a notification under sub-section (3) shall be conclusive evidence that the said scheme has been framed.
