Section 3: Establishment and incorporation of the Board

The Himachal Pradesh Infrastructure Development Act, 2001State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 1 of 2002

(1) As soon as may be after the commencement of this Act, the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish a Board to be called the Himachal Pradesh Infrastructure Development Board with effect from such date as may be specified in the notification.

(2) The Board shall be body corporate by name aforesaid having a perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold and dispose off property both movable and immovable and to contract and shall by the said name sue and be sued.
