With effect from such date 2[the Government of Himachal Pradesh], may, by notification in the Official Gazette, fix in this behalf, there shall be established for the purposes of this Act a Board to be called the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board.
(2) The Board shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and to contract and may, by the said name sue and be sued:
Provided that any lease, sale or the transfer to any person or authority other than the Commission of any immovable property belonging to the Board shall be null and void unless it is sanctioned by the 3[Government of Himachal Himachal Pradesh].
