Section 6: Cost of Kisan Pass Book

The Himachal Pradesh Kisan Pass Book Rules, 1982State Rules of Himachal Pradesh · 1954

(1) The pass book shall be issued to a Kisan:-

(a) free of cost, for the first time or if it is exhausted and a Kisan demands a new book;

(b) against a fee of Rs 5,if the original is misplaced, lost, defaced or torn in such a way as to make the contents in it illegible.

(2) Where a fresh pass book is issued under sub-rule (1) (b) the Patwari shall record the following certificate in red ink with dated signature on title page of the book:- “Certified that his book has been issued in lieu of the original book issued on------- which is reported to have been lost/ defaced/ torn, against payment of a fee of Rs. 5/- received vide receipt No…………….……dated……………………..“
