Section 28: Continuance of liability for land revenue, rates and cesses

The taking and retaining of possession of any land on behalf of the Government under the provisions of this chapter shall not affect the liability of any person for the payment of land revenue, rate or cess in respect of the land for any period whether before or after the date of taking possession.
