Section 8: Power to make grant or advance loan

the Himachal Pradesh Land Development Act, 1973State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 14 of 1973

(1) The Deputy Commissioner may grant or advance a loan to any person for carrying out any work under any scheme on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.

(2) The amount of loan or any instalment thereof or interest thereon which may be due but not repaid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the loan may, without prejudice to any other remedy provided by law, be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
