Section 21: Disciplinary Committee
The Himachal Pradesh Medical Council Act, 2003State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 21 of 2003
There shall be a Disciplinary Committee comprising of, -
(i) a Chairman to be nominated by the Council;
(ii) a member of Legislative Assembly of the Himachal Pradesh nominated by the Speaker;
(iii) a Legal Expert to be nominated by the Council;
(iv) an eminent public man nominated by the Government;
(v) an eminent medical specialist in the relevant speciality to which the complaint pertains, to be nominated by the Council; and
(vi) a member nominated by the Medical Association of Himachal Pradesh with minimum ten years standing.
