(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 15 and 20 of this Act, on such date, after the date of publication of the notice under sub-section (6) of section 15, as the Executive Committee may, with the previous sanction of the Government, decide, and every three years thereafter, the Registrar shall cause a notice in the prescribed form to be published in the Official Gazette calling upon all registered practitioners to make an application within a period of 45 days from the date of publication of the notice to the Registrar for the continuance of their names THE HIMACHAL PRADESH MEDICAL COUNCIL ACT, 2003 15 on the register together with such proof of having attended approved Medical Education Programme, as may be prescribed.
(2) If the application is not made on or before the date fixed by the Registrar, he shall remove the name of the defaulter from the register and shall inform him of such removal by registered post:
Provided that if an application for continuance of the name so removed is made within a period of six months from the date of removal of name from the register, the name so removed may be re-entered in the register on payment of prescribed fee.
