Section 22: Savings

The Himachal Pradesh Municipal Services Act, 1994State Act of Himachal Pradesh · Act 11 of 1994

(1) All corresponding provisions contained in any enactment, rules, regulations and bye-laws relating to the municipal services in force in the municipalities immediately before the commencement of this Act, shall stand repealed:

Provided that any order made or action taken under the Act, rules, regulations or bye-laws so repealed shall deemed to have been made under the corresponding provisions of this Act.

(2) Nothing contained in this Act shall apply to the officers or officials of the State Government working on deputation basis with a municipality.
